Notice the climbing hydrangea growing against outside my kitchen window and up against my garage was making a very loud buzzing noise, and was covered in different types of bees and hover flies..
Weigela. You hear a constant humming/buzzing when you step out of my front door because it is huge and absolutely covered in bees. It is also growing through the guttering and the neighbours love to tut at it but I don't care
They also seem to love the nepeta, lavender and geraniums.
Foxgloves and honeysuckle for me. Sometimes there seems to be a bee inside almost every fox glove flower 😂 I love the smell of our honeysuckle we have but sometimes have to wait my turn as it’s congested with bees.

No Achillea this year, but the new Bowles Mauve and Ceanothus are very popular this year.
