I'm more of a butterfly-friendly gardener than a bee-friendly gardener recently in terms of my focus. Is there a similar thread to this one for butterflies? Perhaps I should start one?

This north-facing bank of London Pride (Saxifraga x urbium) is currently teeming with bees.

When they flower the bees will be smothering the golden marjoram, perovskia and echium blue bedder.

Stunning London pride, there. How Long is it in flower?

I saw some on newly planted on my street, in the shade, north facing. It's almost like gypsophilia...

Thanks @Fire. 3 to 4 weeks before they start to go over. We inherited it when we bought the house 25+ years ago. The bank at the back of the house is divided by steps - London Pride on one side beneath the kitchen window and then a bigger area of Persicaria 'Darjeeling Red' (which we planted) on the other side beneath the patio doors.

Bees here are really going for the geraniums ATM, 'Johnson's Blue', cantabrigiense 'Biokovo' and 'Karmina', and versicolor.

They love geraniums,  my Aconitum will soon be in flower,  bees love that.
