You could cut out the pictures of the plants from a catalogue - ie. Thompson and Morgan or Mr Fothergills. Stick the pic on a card and then write the name, sun or shade etc on the back.

For the images, should the image be of the flower head or the leaves aswel?  I can't find images of the whole plant just the flower head.

For daisy type flowers it's often useful to have a picture of the leaves too Ashley as sometimes the flowers look alike.

Hi I have done a card on Geranium Rozanne.  I found a picture but not showing leaves very well, you can see one leaf in full view.   I have written that it is a Herbaceous perennial, that it likes sun or partial shade and it flowers in spring,  anyother bits i need to include that are important?

That sounds good ... however I would say that it starts flowering in late spring and carries on flowering right through the summer.

Also it is  good for bees.

I think that sounds great to start with.  :)

If you learn that much about each of say 5 or 10 plants  to start with you can feel proud of yourself.  Then if you find out more about a plant you can add it to the card and learn it as before.

Take your time ... the memory works best at a steady pace so don't try to rush it.  :)

Thank you yes I'll try and do 5 plants a day or every few days with the same basic info.    I've looked up Geum totally tangerine on rhs but it doesn't say whether it's herbaceous perennial.  What image should I have, one with leaves?
