Yes, dollally is a saying here, lol. Gets plenty of use too. Yeah I tried cbt twice before, due to my situations at the time though the counsellor didnt think it would help me much but I do think it could be helpful for this. Strangely as I was typing my last comment I was trying to change my wording to keep the cbt training in mind. Its difficult but it is helpful at times. Anxiety and depression does run in my family quite a bit unfortunately so sometimes they arent the best to approach for help in situations such as this, which is why I do value all the input and support on here. It's been helpful guidance for me.
You’re much younger than me and probably don’t remember Morecambe & Wise , but at times of stress I sing this to myself ... at least it puts a smile on my face and life is a bit more cope-able with https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Fp_1We7l4OU

And here you have your answer... he will easily be picking up on your anxiety, along with the needs of being a new mum and support for your husband.
You are his current entertainment, sadly gob$hites exist and the emptiness of their lives frequently requires filling. DO NOT INDULGE HIM!
Trees are sorted with the bonus of a wildlife habitat ( smile as you realise a ‘gob$hite’ has inadvertantly helped the local wildlife ), the fence is underway, and the Police have done their job.
I just hope this is the end of it smudgerii. I'm gonna take my meds tonight and see if I can get some sleep which might help my anxiety a bit. Thanks for your comments x

I moved on from meds nearly 6 years ago, never got on with them really... I’ve found short hard exercise to be the best help out of all the treatments they throw at you ( and I’ve had them all, including the weekly visits to a psychiatrist ).
The next part of the saga is; since my fence guy got shouted at by the neighbour he hasn't came back. I was so distressed about my neighbours actions on monday that I paid the fence guy £150 too much, which he confirmed later that evening. He said he would return the money the next day (tues) in cash, he didnt turn up, then wednesday he was to appear and didn't. He stopped reading my messages last night and I contacted my bank this morning to start a dispute. I didnt want to do this as he seemed honest but as he stopped reading my messages and 3 days have passed I didnt know what else to do. I honestly cant take much more, I'm scared now the fence guy is gonna have a go at me. It just keeps getting better...I just want peace to live!
No one is entitled to a view from their property. I would seek help from your local council particularly as you feel a bit intimidated by this new owner.
Thanks novice2020. I had considered going to the council but I wasnt sure if they would take his side because of the height of the trees. I'm not sure if they would regard them as too tall and it could backfire on me. I think the trees arent to be the height of the eaves of the house or something but it's a bit tricky because I'm not sure if it would be our house or his. His house is quite a bit higher up than ours.
Yesterday i was out in the garden and heard the neighbour telling the neighbour beside him that he 'got us to cut our trees'. She then said 'about time too'. Cleared a bit more of the debris he left but it's a shocking amount. Theres milk cartons are everything left there. The fence my guys were supposed to erect doesn't even half cover the boundary and I can't get anyone to finish it. No one wants to know because it's on a boundary and awkward to get at between the trees.
I've lost count how many people I've called and no one is willing to put a fence in. One guy even said the trees were in my neighbours garden and it was no wonder he cut them. Which they are definitely not. It seems I would have to cut the trees to put a fence in, (so I've been told) and no one will put wire through the existing boundary posts. What do I do?
