Sounds like you’ve had a fab day out @chicky
@Obelixx - I had a deep splinter the other week and I braved a needle to make a hole and squeezed it (ouch 🤬) ... and it popped out! If yours is very painful, or looks infected, maybe you should go to a Minor Injury Unit or GP.  Wine will help (not official medical advice that second bit!).

  • It must be Spring! I'm back 😁. Nice to read this thread again and hear from old friends, and new. As for me, still full of projects. Have moved a quince ( oh no! Hope it survives). But all in good cause - OH has got me a greenhouse and needed the space. 😄
No rain today  so the poppies are still holding their heads up.Trellis painting booked in for tomorrow. Dove grey!
    Love to all.

AR - this splinter/thorn is under the nail bed and appears to be intending to come out via the cuticle.   No Minor Injuries that I know of here and GP has an appointment system.   I'll give it till Monday and then start making appointments.

Chicky - I prefer my musicals on film but I'm pleased you've had a good time.

Ditto. I feel absolutely exhausted and the day hasn't even started yet.

:(  I don't s'pose this muggy weather helps either ... I prescribe lots of cups of tea and some biscuits  at regular intervals ...

I'd have to say the garden looks lovely at this time of day.
