    They tend to be slug fodder here so I rarely grow them. I did grow a very dark one a couple of years ago, but it was more attractive in bud than in flower  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    @B3 how are your sunflowers doing? Mine are the free ones from GW mag in January. 'Velvet Queen' I think. I doubt they will get 6ft tall, but it's satisfying that the slugs didn't manage to snaffle them all.

    I bought mine. The packet just says sunflower claret F1.
    Sounds like a racing car.
