    'They' say the Swedes have 20 words for snow, isn't it interesting how many words we have for herbal extractions. Clearly an important part of life.

    After the beast from the east I had 20 words for snow. All 4 letters long...
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Just having my first nettle tea of the year with a bit of rosemary for flavour. Very refreshing  :) I've dried a jar full of fresh nettle tips as well.

    I'll rinse my hair with either of those @wildedges ... anyone remember good old Polyherb shampoo ... smelled wonderful, just like a wild hedgerow and made our Sassoon crops shine just like Mary Quant's. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
