World Naked Gardening Day!

So it's this Saturday - who's in? Personally I love a bit of naturism, usually indulged at my nearest retreat just a ten minute drive from home, but my garden is almost completely overlooked by my neighbours. There's a tiny patch where one of them could see me but only if he craned his neck over the fence. I'll do a bit of naked sunbathing there when it's hot. Last year I planted an oval of hornbeams around one area of the garden. Going to grow them up to about seven foot which should prevent anyone from seeing in - that'll be my spot for naked gardening. Does anyone else garden in the nude?

Oh come on @Joyce21. It's to be 15° on Saturday. Don't be coy.
We did it year before last and hardly anyone got arrested!

I'm a bit of a fair weather naturist - don't like the cold! Saturday's forecast is cloudy here but Sunday and Monday look set to be glorious :)

As long as it doesn't involve thistles, roses or pyracantha you should be fine  :)

A naturist friend of mine moved into a new house last month and took the opportunity for a spot of naked gardening in his very over-looked garden in the suburbs. An outraged neighbour immediately called the police and accused him of crimes bordering on paedophilia as the neighbour had small children and their bedroom had a full view of my friend cavorting in the roses. My friend was heart-broken as he had been so looking forward to being fully ventilated. And he is mystified why anyone would be offended by his God-given bits. My friend's wife has spent the last month baking cakes for all the neighbours in order to head off an ASBO. The moral? Be slightly careful where you frolic and stay off the trampoline.

I've got to tackle a large patch of nettles this weekend :'( Tackle is probably a bad choice of words...
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

"Nettles have a long history as a treatment for rheumatism and muscle pain like sciatica. The Romans are credited with bringing seeds of this plant with them into Britain; by flogging themselves with the plants, they apparently kept warm in the colder northern climate".   ;)
