We have arrived ... the sun is shining and the sky and sea are blue. Thanks to Hosta and his Lovely Hub for their wonderful hospitality.  B)

I'm glad you arrived safely @Dovefromabove.
    I'm just re-testing the sunbed.
I think, thanks to the lovely @NoraGW, I've re-set my camera.

Evening all. Lovely here again, a bit chilly again overnight. Not quite the sub zero that Liri had though. Still much nicer than the rain and wind - it can't possibly last! Been out doing some bits and bobs in the late afternoon sun.
Read back but have instantly forgotten it all.   :s
Lovely pic Hosta. It would be hard to get fed up of that view  :)
Re your links - it never ends does it? When will anyone learn.....
Was hoping to walk tomorrow, but on the way home from work my oil light came on [off and on] and when I got back, there was a bit of oil on my drive which wasn't there yesterday. B***er. Couldn't it have waited till Monday?  Got it booked in to garage for Tuesday. Went and got oil and put some in etc, but I'm not sure how ok it will be, or how far I could go..... :#
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Thanks for the nice comments ladies.
I neither tire of it, nor do I ever take it for granted.

I just saw the news.  It's a topic near and dear to my heart, as a primary school teacher who has to lead my students during our monthly 'shooter' drills.  I'm despairing to think American will ever get it's sh*t together and do something about guns.  If 20 dead 6-7 year olds in 2012 wasn't enough to tip the balance.. and the countless before and since.. what will?  I am disgusted.

All; the tree was an apple.
No shiny spade as they haven't the ground to plant it into yet. But it was a much needed morale boost for the activities coordinator who has high hopes for the space.

Fortunately I've just secured a modest amount of funding to give her a boost, I'm hoping once people see things happening they'll be keener to get involved.

Quiet night tonight with the television off. I can retreat to my little world and not have to worry about everyone elses.
