Quite a chilly, unpromising start here in London but looks like it might cheer up later.

Icbritain, Karmi rings a bell, is that not a village near kyrenia?
I was stationed in Cyprus twice, pre- Dhekelia in Larnaca, our morning bath was out of the tents across the beach into the sea for a swim. I was then in Dhekelia Garrison and we flew by helicopter between Akrotiri and Episcopi near Limasol during our duties. Kyrenia was our weekend escape I loved it there. I was last there in 1974.
Troodos, Nicosia, Famagusta all places we would go to. The weather was not always good one memorable fortnight we never saw the sun.
A beautiful Island although as I have said before on here we live in paradise compared with some of the regions I travelled, I have no urge to ever leave again.
Still sunny though clouding over a bit with high cloud.

Dry here in Norfolk, but overcast with a chilly wind ... they're promising that tomorrow will be warmer ...

  • Lovely day here, mild, sunny and light breeze - make the most of it - we are forecast rain here for the next few days - oh no, not that again!
  • Cornwall is grey with a chilly East wind, but it is dry so far. Not very enticing to go outside.

Not as nice as yesterday, but brightening up a bit now. Bit of a chilly breeze  so the pot washing will have to wait. I don't want to be fishing clean pots out of the flower beds. Plenty to be getting on with in the greenhouse, good job as rain is forecast for tomorrow  :'(
  • Nasty cold wind here, only replenished the birds food!

Wild winds with heavy showers here since yesterday evening.   Clearing somewhat but cold.   Did anyone else read we're due a heatwave the end of the month?

Dry, sunny and 22C on the front doorstep or 44C in the polytunnel.  I stayed there long enough to sow some seeds and then scooped up the luxuriating pussycat and headed for the great outdoors.  I've put the Little Gem seed trays outside but assume that radicchio, being Italian, will enjoy the warm.
