Are you saying your iPad makes it trivially easy to resize files? Or does it, somehow, do it automatically? I'm asuming this is when uploading?

It's trivially easy to do on any platform, but it may take a whole 5 minutes to learn how.

No, iPad takes them small in the first place.   I could resize even more by cropping the edges they are well under 2 then.  Which I do if I just want a close up and no background.

I know, I just haven’t got the time to do it.

It doesn't work like that when computers are involved

Or gardening, or housekeeping or anything else for  that matter.
Ok I’ll be blunt, can’t be arsed to put them in a reducer. 😀

I use a free app on my iPhone to resize images (i'm sure there are free apps for a Win10 PC). Takes all of 15s to do. IPhone photos are around 2mb or under (25mb from my DSLR camera) but I still resize. Quicker to upload and download for me and others. Still loads of detail to zoom in.
It all depends on how many photos you upload I suppose but I do get twicked off with these huge photos on the forum now. My broadband isn't that slow but the photos take forever to load so I just tend to ignore those posts.
