We went to the National Botanic Garden of Wales in June, not been there since it was first opened, they've done wonders there. Driving past the sign for Aberglassney on the way down it was on our list to visit next. So watching Carol showing us all the delights of a wonderful restored Garden and loads and loads more me and my OH are having discussion when's the best month to go, not just to see the blossom on the walk through but there again could have a few visits different times of the year, why not and what an enthusiastic, clever Head Gardner. . Did banish the blues for sure.
Yes, I agree with you @LG_, Carol Klein's programmes are essential viewing for any keen gardener. Her geniune enthusiasm and glee at exploring the restored gardens at Aberglasney on last night's Great British Gardens was a real treat. An instant remedy for banishing any winter blues!
I've enjoyed this series even more than the previous ones. I think they've coped with the fact that she clearly couldn't do all the planned visits (due to COVID) really seamlessly too, without compromising the programme content at all - bravo!

@Uff. I have yet to watch it but if anyone else is interested and has missed it, it is repeated on Sunday morning BBC2 8.15am. Will look forward to watching it. Thanks for your input.
Watched it this morning and although it put me an hour behind it was well worth it. Looking forward to next week's episode. There are only two in total.
Forgot to watch The Wild Gardener on Friday night and happened to catch the final half this morning on BBC2 at 8.30am. If you have missed it you can easily google it and I can highly recommend it.
