I’ve just taken my ad block off and see no ads!
I think the slow loading for some of us and being kicked out is due to the large photos on the site.

I can't imagine it's down to the site in every instance. Maybe it's the technology/ shortcomings of the equipment/ internet access used to access the site which is lacking?

That is true H, but for us with slow internet, that is what’s happening, I belong to a few forums and none of them chuck me out every so often.
I cant access half of the ID threads, and don’t even look at the garden gallery anymore.

I had a problem seeing pictures when the new forum was launched,  couldn't see any at all but without doing anything after about 5 weeks they suddenly started to appear. However now I am unable to post any pictures, like others I am getting the message that Chrome is no longer working.
Don't ask me to explain what is going on, I  have no idea!

I have an exclamation mark too and I had a warning from Chrome to say this is an insecure site. I started a thread about it. I wonder if Nora noticed. That day instead of seeing photos I got black rectangles.

I use Chrome and haven't had any problem with it, or the site since upgrade.

Same here ... using Chrome with no problems at all  :)

Surely all sites accessible to the public have to be 'insecure' ... the only secure bits are where you put your personal details in.  I'm on another forum and some people, particularly those who use tablets, have suddenly noticed this warning popping up.  It seems that some software upgrade has decided that people need to know something that's perfectly normal.

No idea about the photos tho' ... I can upload just fine.

@Muddle-Up, I'm only saying I've had no problems to give a sense of balance. Many ARE having problems, but many ARE NOT.
I feel some, SOME, not all, are just blaming everything on " the site "

Sorry @Muddle-Up , I'm not trying to say there's not a problem or that it's anyone's fault for not using stuff correctly or whatever ... I thought it might be helpful to try to whittle down just who is and who isn't experiencing the problem and what type of device they're using ... Nora has details of mine
