I am going to switch to loose tea in response to this thread, I always have had some around for my Sunday morning 'proper' cup of tea so I've tea pots, strainers and inset filters aplenty. No good reason not to go for luxury everyday

Gardening on the edge of Exmoor, in Devon
“It's still magic even if you know how it's done.”
Yes I already have loose tea my local Sainsburys stocks several. I have been known to put a teabag in a my small pot anyway so I really should switch over fully too. It is still a faf cleaning out the loose leaves though, but a bit of effort worthwhile and the tea tastes better too.
I keep a small bucket in the back porch for compost heap stuff, I find it easier to empty the pot, swill out with a drop of water than dry out the bags and rip them open.

Stay Loose
Stay loose, I love that??
I always go shopping with a rucksack. We can't easily drive to the house and there are 50 steps to climb, so it makes sense...
I'm going to look for loose tea tomorrow. Thanks for the prompt, people!
Me too, Lyn. I have a holey laundry basket outside the back door and all compostable stuff, that is of no interest to vermin, is lobbed into it.
I still have a large pack of yorkshire tea but I will be looking for loose tea in the mean time..
I just had a thought, we may have anew thread with people reading the tea leaves again...
