  • Just sharing a thought I had this morning....that gardeners are lovely people e.g. focused on growth and flowers, yes?   I guess those just tending to veg may be deemed as admirable, practical and somewhat independent?

A 'weed' is just a plant in the wrong place - subjective! ;)

A few photos from around the garden this morning. We’ve been away 7 weeks visiting our daughter in Australia & then cruising to Singapore. Just started weeding but lots more to do.

Planting under the street tree in front of my house. Not very 'guerilla' as the council are very encouraging. Snakes' heads peaking, wallflowers about to pop, nibbled primroses, shed-loads of ox eyes self-seeded everywhere.

I planted a native crab apple hedge in the autumn. I didn't know if the winter had killed it off. These are my very first leaves, out today.
