Yvie, I have that hellebore.  It's in a large pot with an upturned wire hanging basket over to support the flower heads.

Ooooooh, I have serious Hellebore envy.
I grow lots, but they are all from seed, from an original dark pink variety.
Perhaps I need to invest in some of the fancy hybrids.
How can you lie there and think of England

Having Ashwoods just down the round is a double edged sword.  Last year I went on their hellibore tour and sort of got hooked.  They breed such beauties there that it's hard to resist. I'm trying to limit myself to one a year but this year I ended up buying two.

I'm afraid that last time I went I succumbed to a car boot full. It hammered the credit card a bit. I have a similar double red. I think it is  Kingston cardinal.

Spring time flowers starting to come through everyday now.  Managed to clean the garden of mold and moss for now and have brought in new gavel for round the bird bath and a small amount to the circle patio as a new garden wall will be added replacing the wooden logs at last.  Other plants are coming through as well and the other main plants are coming to life now new bubs ready to open
