    I think you are right @Hostafan1. I have thought about getting one for some time, I don't know why I haven't yet.

    The Canna grow so easily from seeds, @Hostafan1 gave me some seeds a few years ago.
    this dahlia is one of a few I bought from Wilco for Hosta and I, finally blooming, very pretty it’s called Crazy Love. Only a pound each. 

    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    Great Pictures everyone  :) Dahlia's - punkdoc canna's and hosta bannana look fantastic, its took quite a while for my ensete to get going this year, it was covered in aphids when I pulled it out of storage.

    I like the more vibrant colours at this time of the year @Papi Jo :) Spring I have more pastel colours with alliums - delphiniums etc. Your Ligularia been flowering a while, mine flowered after your first picture of your Ligularia, mine finished now.
