Gorgeous. I love delphiniums and lilies, ours are over too but were best ever this year
I have just cut the seed heads off and will leave them till we meet again next year!

Despite the heat and the drought, the petunias (Tidal Wave Red Velour) are continuing to put on a fine display. The first picture has three in a terracotta pot, the second has five in an 18” hay basket. Hoping the dahlias in the front garden - photo 2 - will bloom eventually.

Great when a plan comes together Picidae   :)
I'm sure the dahlias will come away too - they look well and healthy.
I haven't really posted on this thread much this year, but here's my Ligularia, complete with happy bees

I bought a Salvia [don't know why! ] and it's here with Hackenochloa and some Beaujolais sweet peas

Sweet pea Cathy, in the shady corner with the Fatsia

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

WoW picidae this pétunias are lovely but I don’t envy you the deadheading. I’m struggling to keep on top of mine. Here are a few bits from my terrace.
Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.

What an exuberant display, Jacqui. It must give you great pleasure and it’s a credit to you.

A bonus of the Tidal Wave petunias is that no deadheading is needed. When the flowers go over, they shrivel and almost disappear, similar to calibrachoa in that respect.

Oh like the sound of that. Never seen tidal wave here in France.... seeds perhaps when I’m over in the UK later this month.... more to add to my list of shopping possibilities.

Struggling to find any decent overview so here are a few close ups.
Hydrangea paniculate turning pink from white, originally lime flowers. Long lasting, elegant, beautiful.

Millet purple majesty, new this year, one flower spike in seed, another just sneaked up last week.

Echinacea just decided to flower and the white phlox has been blooming for a couple of weeks.

Awe wow there’s lots of lovely pictures here. I’ve had to get a new phone as I was not receiving emails etc, so I can now take pictures again yay 👍
