Hi Janie yes it's Hamburg don't know where Homburg came from. It's on a south facing fence.
Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • Some beautiful colours in your "yard" Johnny. The mix is vibrant, and I can hardly believe that you have such long, hard winters.  You certainly have early frosts there - has anyone else had a frost yet?

Georgous 'yard' Johnny..........I love the pale green leafed plant with the pink flowers, 3rd pic from last
  • Thanks Guernsey Donkey and Mary. They say +3 for a low tonight but one never knows.

Hello Mary, that plant is the Mirabilis  Lime Light (four o clock). I have collected the seed for years but I think I started out with seeds ordered from Thompson and Morgan.

Lovely @Johnny canoe do you have trouble with slugs and snails over there?
  • Thanks Logan, your flowers are looking great. We don't have snails but we had a dry and hot summer so I found very few slugs. Usually aphids are a big problem in late summer but only a few of my petunias have been attacked this year.

Beautiful LilyP .....and all the others too.  I enjoy this thread muchly too 😀😀😀

Can’t believe frosts are about to hit your garden Johnny Canoe ....it still looks in its prime. By the time we get our first one (normally November) the garden has usually run out of steam on its own 😱
