    Gorgeous blooms Perki.  Love that view LilyP - and the wine bottle/watering can combo makes it look like a page out of Country Living 🍷

    Pleased with our meadow this year - the yellow rattle has really taken hold and there is plenty of variety if you look closely (although still waiting for another orchid - one made an appearance a few years ago and never returned, but I know they must be in the seed bank, so every year I look hopefully....)

    And my Pauls Himalayan Musk, planted 7 years ago, has finally made it to the top of the tree - yay 🎉🎉🎉

    Cut horizontally and plunged into boiling water (protect the heads) these have last 4 days. Why should the storm have them and not us?!

    I've been coveting all the roses on here and mine have finally started to flower🙂

    Had to cut some damaged branches out after Hector but it's still looking ok - Golden Gate

    The lychnis was smashed into the rose (Hot Choc) during the storm and I can't straighten it but I think it has a pleasing effect.

    Hi all, thanks for the great pics of your great plants/flowers/etc. Here's my short list of recent favs.
    @Fairygirl's Niobe Clematis. Superb colour!
    @Perki's pink rose, n°4 pic
    chicky's prairie & Pauls Himalayan Musk.

    Here are some views of my garden, which I opened to the public yesterday. Only 55 visitors but not too bad for a very local event (4 gardens were open in the vicinity) poorly advertised. Usual mix of regular visitors and new comers.

    Garden visitors

    View of North & East borders. Shipshape lawn courtesy of recent heavy rains!

    General view towards the North with Akebia quinata leaves over the pergola in the foreground.

    One of the "stars" of the visit, rose flower carpet 'Yellow Sunshine' surrounded by penstemons & lavender

    Another view of the North border. Solanum jasminoides 'Alba' (potato vine) providing a backdrop curtain of white flowers.

    Accelerated YouTube video of visitors to my garden yesterday.

  • Fabulous pictures on here, and lovely open garden Papi Jo, the garden is so tidy and at least the weather was good for your 55 visitors.  Chicky I love your wild flower meadow, you have a good mix there and must have been quite an effort on your part to get it looking so good.
