    Hi Chicky.  I was using an iPhone so the photo is probably too big.  Let's try again.  I really like the ethereal nature of the Veronicastrum


  • Especially for Joyce, astilbe's coming into flower, look so delicate and pretty.

    Mine are not showing colour yet @Guernsey Donkey. Pleased they are doing well for you.  It's usually August for these astilbes with me..

  • They are in partial shade, other types of astilbes have finished flowering already.  Neither my sedum or Michaelmas Daisies are in flower yet, the aquilegia have now finished too. Luckily there is still plenty of plants still in flower like the mini Echium, the pelagoniums and roses.

    A few plants seem happy in the heat.

  • What a pretty water lily Zenjeff - we have pink/red and white, but the yellow makes a nice change from the normal.
