Philadelphus starting to bloom - smells lovely too:

Unfortunately, the aphids also love it! I might not spray though, as there are ladybirds and Ladybird larvae ready and waiting...

My garden and I live in South Wales.

I didn't plant the orange poppy with Patty's Plum - Mother Nature did it herself!

The seat is a statement piece in the garden.  Lovely poppies too.

Here’s my philadelphus Aunty Rach - amazing scent fills the whole garden.  Brought with me as cuttings from my previous garden .....does that make me a real proper gardener ?

  • Several of my Echinopsis cacti have decided to flower in synchrony. These are all grown from seed which I produced myself and sowed in 2013. Some flowered one or two years ago, others are flowering for the first time.

  • These are lovely Alan, they are so perfect and well done for having the patience to grow them, a stunning reward for your efforts. I used to grow Echinopsis but the flowers were mostly red.  You have inspired me to perhaps try again.
