Older cats 💕 reminds me of the oldest cat I’ve ever come across.

Don’t forget to put the volume on she’s a dear.
That was just the loveliest clip to see what a sweet moment to share, bought tears to my eyes bless her heart. The eldest we had was Mitzy aged 16 she was a gentle loving cat, content just to be with you.

Oh dear, you must be feeling awful @februarysgirl.  just give it a few days and he will feel better. You know how groggy we humans feel after an extraction. Poor puss, get well soon.

Well, he'd perked up by 11 last night and was purring, head bumping and wanting chin rubs. We stayed up to keep an eye on him and he was pretty normal by about 3:30am 🥱 We put a couple of food options down and by 7am he'd almost cleared both bowls 🙂 He's had some breakfast which is a relief as it had his meds in. Only thing now is he wants to go out and the earliest we can let him is Sunday. Something else for us to feel terrible about!

Thanks for all of the good wishes 😊

Why feel terrible?  It's for his own good and he'll soon forget all about it.   Good that he's eating and wanting cuddles.  He'll be fine so try and relax so he doesn't pick up on your nerves and stress..

Glad to see he’s eating well - always a good sign. If they don’t eat that’s my cue to start worrying 💕

@Chivetalking I felt exactly the same when I saw it.

I‘ve only just got my cats in Nov so here’s to lovely long lives to all the dear moggies in our lives 👏🏽

Great news February’s Girl; I’m so pleased all is heading in the right direction.

I took mine back for his two-week post illness check-up and he got signed off because he’s now well. Unfortunately I’m not - I got the bill!

Happy to hear he's better, Februarysgirl. It's always scary when something isn't right with a pet.
Here is my girl... crazy thing.
I am a first-time cat owner. My family used to have dogs and a cat but I am only now realizing how much harder it is to be the primary carer than just having a family pet (with someone else - my mother - having the responsibility).

Yes, it's all good :) He's not too chuffed about not being allowed out (we'll let him out from tomorrow) but other than that, he's all purrs and head rubs 😊

It was bad enough Chester just being in for 10 hours, I can't imagine what two days was like for you. Glad to hear he's well, the kicker is always the bill!

@e@edhelka, that's awesome! Being the primary carer is a lot harder but I think much more rewarding. I've found that I have a much deeper bond with pets I'm responsible for.
