Thomas is very lazy now, he was 11 in May so I think he’s calming down. I had a white one a long while ago, he kept getting sores on his nose, turned out to be skin cancer, the vet lasered it but it had to be done twice, after that it never came back but he advised sun cream on it alt all times. i would never have know what it was if I hadn’t seen it on an animal rescue programme on tv. Lucky I did.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Lyn - when I took Cosmos to the vet for his first visit I was warned to put factor 50 for kids on his ears when he started going out in the sun or he'd get skin cancer. He's 2 today and has only just started spending lots of time outdoors.
Puzzle - we had a 3 legged cat too after a close encounter with a car. He got around fine for many years and, when the dogs annoyed him, would lie on the open stairs and "whack" their nose with the missing paw. Very funny. He lived to 17 when he died of kidney failure as so many do. Apparently it's from minute amounts of arsenic in the fish in their food and that they can't process so my latest pair only get meat based food - and cream and cheese for treats.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
