Story time to you all. I went to Visit Valley of the temples in Hawaii years ago and there is a memorial ground, absolutely gorgeous grounds to walk round. Whilst walking there was a headstone and one you would never see over here, it was unreal and on the colourful marble was a image of a very large tiger, sat upon it was a big ginger cat. I walked towards him, he was crying his heart out and someone said that the owners cats are taken there sometimes. I never forgot about that cat or that day to be fair, it was a true memory. Later on I walked further and all these cats where jumping out of the shrubs and flowers and I was fascinated, there were so many and beautiful. This ginger cat sensed something and that made me feel uneasy but equally happy.
@tessagardenbarmy Did you crochet that blanket your cat seems to favour? Looks very familiar to me as I have made countless ones for babies. Love cats and have always had one but never had to look for one as they have always come to me and that covers some years! All the cats on this thread are beautiful. My current cat is very feisty and rules the roost.
I don’t know whether you guys have rooms that the cats are not allowed in but my main sitting room is usually out of bounds. Now my boys are graduating from kittenhood, I have been gradually introducing them to the room, as they are very keen on being in the same room as me whenever possible (!) Tonight, for the first time in this room, they have settled down on the sofa with me. I am really chuffed. I really hope they stay well behaved so we can have more evenings like this (she says checking the sofa is still well covered with the blanket).
Hi @Franiom Yes it's my own crochet handiwork. Have lap blankets on both sofas to stop me putting the heating on too soon! As usual cats will appropriate anything that adds to their comfort x
