  • This is Poppy my newly acquired rescue, the first is her doing her favourite thing which is asking for food 🙄. She was underweight when I got her but she's now about right, just hope she realises she will always have food available soon as next step will be Kitty Diet ! The 2nd is snuggling in for a cuddle which when not eating she is very partial too. She is a very affectionate cat.

Happy cat.  Glad she's found a good home.

One of our two rescue kittens (adopted nearly 2 years ago) turned out be older than thought as she was so underweight.  Even now with regular meals she's still skinny and thinks she needs to hunt all day but has become the most affectionate, chatty, playful wee puss and is a joy.   So is the other but he came from one secure home (born to a rescued cat) straight to us so has always been well fed and affectionate and playful and has taught her that our dogs are OK, really.

  • Aww Obeilixx your 2 are cuties.  Pop's is 6 so tiny but fully grown. She'd been neutured but never vaccinated so currently under house arrest, she'll get out in about 3 weeks but not showing any signs of wanting to go out and been with me 6 weeks I suspect with winter weather approaching it will be spring before she wanders very far.

    Hi Everyone
Meet my neighbours cat Lilly Sparkle, this is the one with the big love 💕 heart marking, she’s always waving at our window and so I’ve just given a sneaky Treat. Hope you are all ok and our lovely friends😻
  • Brilliant thread. So many beautiful kitties. Here are my two : Paris the tiger has recently gone completely blind but it does not seem to bother her at all. It’s amazing how welll she has adapted. Neelix the black one is her sister although how two different cats both in nature and looks can come from the same litter still amazes me. They are 16 so allowed to be lazy!

Last week in my local paper, some ******** chucked a bag containing 4 very young kittens in one of the local woods where I walk my dogs, in a black bag, luckily a dog found them, they are gorgeous!  I suppose I shouldnt be surprised as people kill and dump each other.

Am VERY jealous, have been cat free for 12 years since my lovel Charlotte died, hubby wont let me have another one, mind you, much as I loved my daughters beautiful cat we had for 2 months in the summer, he kept waking my up in the night, and my border collie was terrified of him, it wouldnt have worked.
