How do you care for indoor plants during the winter?

I have joined a patchwork group that meets on Monday afternoons but does one whole day a week for special projects and occasionally does other half day projects.  Last week we had the choice of crocheting a Japanese inspired pan scrub or shower scrub using indestructible polyester yarn with shiny spiky bits like tinsel or felt Xmas ornaments.  I decided 50 years or so ago that life is too short to crochet and I can just about knit a scarf so opted for felt ornaments.

I also found a thingy for making fabric Xmas trees - good to fiddle with when watching TV.  Here's what I have so far.  Felt Xmas pud and more stars to follow.

Thanks Joyce.  Cosmos still has a poorly paw.  Back to the vet on Monday to see if we persist with the cleaning and socks or whether she wants to remove the pad.   Makes for a very calm and quiet but purry and cuddly boy.  Minstrel tho is far more adventurous and "helpful".  Measuring curtain fabric yesterday and she curled up in the folds........  Likes to tie laces too.

Life hasn't been dull since the two of them arrived.

Certainly not, especially with two daffy dogs who love being teased by kitties.   How are you doing, adjusting to your new life?   Well, I hope.

Adjusting gradually thanks Obelixx.  Quite a change after caring 24/7 for six years but the garden helps a lot.

It's a huge adjustment for you Joyce.   Any projects in mind for the garden for next year?

Obelixx, I made quite a few changes to the garden after I retired so it's now a case of maintenance really and, no doubt, buying more plants and finding somewhere to put them.
