Just poppet out to get some bird food and saw some Allium Christophii pack of 15 bulbs for £5.99. "buy 2 get 3rd free" but when we got to the till , they were half price so we bought all 10 packs.
Can't get into the polytunnel as the doors are tied shut until Brian moves on.
Woodburner and catch up telly for the rest of the day methinks.
Love to see comfy dogs and cats DL. Getting blowy here too Dove so my washing is well pegged to the whirly gig.
No launderettes as we know them so the duvet is in the machine and will get a good blow dry. Oh wants to take the dogs to the coast for walkies after we get back from pot hunting. I think I prefer to stay here and use the hedgerows as windbreaks although it would be good to see some wave on the Atlantic for once. Not seen any to speak of yet since we arrived a year ago.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Not sure how long my 'smalls' will stay on the line Hosta ... don't want to have to knock on the NDN's door to retrieve them ... let alone chase them over the golfcourse and onto the marshes, but on the other hand the sun is shining and they are drying quite quickly out there.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Dacha, we're singing Faure's Requiem, "Beatus Vir" by Monteverdi, and 2 settings of "Ave verum corpus", one by Byrd and the other by Mozart. Definitely my sort of music, so it's galling that I'm going to have to cry off - got a temperature, and can't speak without coughing.
Brian hasn't made his presence felt here yet. It's just a bit damp out.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Liri...this is amazing ....I can't sing for tuppence apart from the odd rendition of "Wild rover" but I do have an ear for music and I heard Faure's Requiem for the first time in Vienna before I moved to Moscow in 1990 ..... get well soon

"quite blustery" doesn't quite cover it here.

How did we get from Ophelia to Brian?
Ophelia is theirs ... Brian is ours.

Thanks, Dove and Dacha.
I'm now under the cat, dozing and reading...
