Raisingirl, I would be so proud to have all those various bat species visiting my garden/surrounds.  We used to have bats (not sure of the type), but sadly they don't come here anymore.  We had 4 hedgehogs at the same time. last night - that is the most we have seen at one time here.  Surely one will reproduce this summer?
I'm thrilled to have so many bat species here.

On the other hand I would love to have even one hedgehog, but no luck there. I did see one once a few years ago. I sort of hope they are here but keep out of sight - not convinced though  :( I'm also still hoping for a barn owl. Lots of tawnies about, but no barn owls.

Hope you get hedgepiglets this year GD

RG, do you have good empty structures about the place? I hear it's that loss that is leading decline.

It kind of annoys me that I've spent a lot of money on cameras and lenses but my free, third-hand mobile phone take photos like this. There were hundreds of butterflies and moths on my walk and in the garden today. So nice to see given the doom and gloom news about them in the past few years.

Thats a beauty @wild edges. It feels as though this is the best year for them for a long time to me, the garden has been absolutely full of them all week.
I got the big camera out today rather than the phone for a change to get some of the chaser that was hunting by the pond

I have a bridge camera and all your photos really give me a kick to learn how to use it properly.

Was that taken from a hide @Sheps ? It looks like you were very close.
