My Dad is a massive Steely Dan fan. He has endured many years of people scoffing at his music tastes. I remember when he had his car broken into, many years ago, they emptied the glove box and boot taking many items... but they left the Steely Dan cassettes on the passenger seat!! We still laugh at that!

Hello , long day out yesterday to Scarborough , with Threatre Group to see " A Brief History of Women "

at the Stephen Joseph Theatre  in the Round

Was going to read back but with Dach & Hosta rolling naked in the snow , ❄️could be to much for my delicate nature , particularly having watched that play

Hope all well with everybody image

No way would I roll in the snow!

Have cleaned the sitting room windows, small panes look because of the wooden frame thing that fits on the big glass windows to be more in keeping with an old house. You have to take the frames off both sides and clean them too. Hoovered, done some dead heading and moved the horses to a different paddock.

    Making spag bol.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I liked Steely Dan enough to buy Can't Buy a Thrill but don't remember anything since.

Definitely can't see Hosta rolling in the snow.

Didn't Clari say something about a few days away?  and wasn't Pdoc planning hols sometime?  Can't remember details tho.

     Behave yourself...you minx!  image

I most certainly wouldn't have scoffed at your Dad AuntyR. Just proves how useless and ignorant  burglars are....image  Pretzel Logic - brilliant.

I'm trying to get that image of Hosta and Dacha out of my head now....and I can't...image

I like rolling in the snow - but only with my clothes on,  I hasten to add.  Bum sliding is one of life's great pleasures image

Thought I'd go the extra mile and do lasagne for me and older fairylet, BL. Nothing to do with the fact I don't have enough spaghetti - no sirree....image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hi folks greetings from Turkey. It's been a balmy 36c today. Not doing much at all except eating and drinking. Not like me at all.  Another 3 days of idleness then back to reality.  Our restaurant this evening

  • Looks great, Yvie!

Evening all.  Back from sunny York to the damp Pennines, a warm house (heating has come on automatically because the living room temperature fell to 17), and some welcome tea.  image  Rehearsal was hard work - lots of new music - but fun; thanks for good wishes.  We might sing in a festival next summer somewhere in County Cavan.

Chicky, many congratulations!  It looks as if you had a good day for it, too.

Fairy, beautiful photo.  image  Made me feel good.

Those of a delicate constitution should look away now.  Took the (unopened, I thought) cream cheese out of the fridge last night to put into a sandwich for lunch.  (It's lovely with chopped dates.  image)

Interesting rumpled effect, I thought... image

    We had cheddar instead...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
