Beautiful snow Dacha. I wish we got proper weather like that rather than the poor efforts that just make the place look mucky.
Glenys: good luck with your diagnosis. Diabetes can be so well managed if you stick to the diet carefully.
I can only find nonsense on the television so the hound and I have retreated to bed to listen to the radio. I don't seem to have the attention for books at the moment.
Hosta; I do love watching Spikeys. Ours seem to have disappeared. Unfortunately I've seen many on the road as a pancake impersonators so I am not holding out much hope.
Guys....hope I did not give you the wrong impression .....we are ~2800KM from Omsk for example so we will be getting snow like this in late November .....if we are lucky.......it used to be early October when I first arrived in Russia in 1990 ....but since we have screwed our planet ...God knows
Since it’s now 1st October here, wev‘e lost an hour, and thevtemp this morning was minus 3.7, and predictions of rain look a little less than promising.
Glenys, hello. I wanted to say that I received one of those diagnoses a couple of years ago, as well. At first it was a nuisance having to watch the sugar and fat etc. intake, but I’ve got used to watching what I eat now and the Dr has taken me off the diabetes list, so that might give you less anxiety. It does get easier.

Lovely photos, Dacha. I don't fancy scraping snow off my parsley though...
Glenys, hard luck getting that diagnosis. Hopefully you'll be able to get on top of the diabetes with diet.
Lovely snowy scenes Dacha. Last one is beautiful.
Dachalover , lovely snowy pictures ❄️

Interesting photos of snow Dacha. Our ski fields have had snowfalls the last two nights as well. Yours are early and ours are late.
