  • Thanks Lyn image  Niece has had an exciting summer and has an important interview coming up, so it'll be good to catch up with her.  We've also got some applewood prunings in the back of the car for her gerbils ... a present from Wonky.

Morning all. we've gone from two people and two dogs to one person one dog.

Our doggy guest has gone home all in one piece and no doubt sick of the sight of grass and now my OH is off to Japan for work. I think the house is going to feel rather quiet!

Have I missed much This week?

Hi Lyn and Clari. It’ll feel strange for a while Clari, but at least it should be easier with only one dog.

Pat; fortunately I didn't find the extra dog any more difficult even with her meds etc. Both dogs are quite laid back which helped and we've plenty of space in both the house and garden for them to get up to mischief.

I think Reggie is feeling a little lost now!

    Morning all. Late start here.

Clari - will your OH have time to view the Autumn colour that is so spectacular in Japan? If I ever go to Japan, I would try to time it for either Cherry Blossom or Autumn leaves.

    Morning all.

Late on parade, but I have had my hair cut and popped into work to sort out tomorrow's rota.

I got to work yesterday to be told my van was having a new tyre fitted at 3 and I was due to leave at 3.05.

" you can load it all, leave the chiller running and they can just change the wheel and you'll be off"

Van loaded with 9 deliveries ,9!!!!  ambient, chilled and frozen all in order. 2.45 phone goes: " erm, we can't get there before 5" Had to get another van into the yard, unload, in order, reload , in order and head off out.

9pm finish last night. I hate delivering in the dark.

No idea when I'll finish tomorrow as they've not been flooded with offers to drive late.

Have a good visit Dove and don't forget the garden centre visit.

I doubt it unfortunately. Last time his holiday photos consisted of a shop that sold bluetooth electric toilets that he found at the train station.

  • Hosta image  Do you think I'm likely to forget? image  They always carry a good range of plants etc, often a few unusual ones, and they're cheaper than Notcutts and Wyevale which are our local ones here.
