  • I might need to see a therapist, I didnt see a spider in the picture I could see a tabby cat on the left beind the stem, please tell me others can see it!  I swear I havent been on the booze, the most noxious substance I have ever taken is co-codamol, and I not need glasses for "reading" mildly shortsighted wear them for driving.  Went out for a walk up the Downs with hubby and dogs last Sunday, I could "see" a jeep in a fluffy white cloud, he gave me a very old fashioned look!!!

    See original post

The next door neighbours boys used to call me Eeyore- I don't think I was that gloomy it started as one of those children's misunderstanding of my name & stuck for years.

I promised to evict the spiders as part of my wedding vowsimage

Our spiders are very often not to be messed with. Some are deadly. I do leave huntsman spiders to make ugly webs under the outside eaves, because I’ve been told they catch mosquitos.

The fire has now been downgraded  the level that the brigade local to it can keep it down, so Hubby can have a break ( unless of course no other idiots get careless again).

In bed and closing for night, yawn, yawn, catch you all in the morning,

I was never afraid of spiders until we went to live in Oz!  I still have to remind myself here that our spiders don't jump!!

loved W the P and love introducing the stories to the grandchildren.  Poo sticks has always been a favourite game

  • They are gorgeous, LilyP.  If you're patient you can get a 2-3ft one for around £40 - they're pretty slow growing though.  image

Liri, my father read us Winnie the Pooh too, loved it.

Obelixx , there are aoutats (harvest mites in English) around at the moment. SIL and a grandson had very itchy bites.

Have spent some time potting up 336 plug plants, but I started yesterday afternoon. Also weeded the cold frames to put them in. Cold frames had almost disappeared under weed and bindweed.

Thanks Busy.  I've looked them up on Google and it says I need to have a hot bath with Marseille soap.  All very well but I only ever use liquid soaps and the bath is full of orchids on holiday.  Planning then.

Well done with all those plugs.
