Have you tried sprinkling a little slippery elm on his food? It sometimes helps. I have a couple of saluki crosses and they are convinced that everyone is surely planning to poison them and will treat every tid-bit with deep suspicion. Even sausages they'll take, then run away, spit them out and sniff them very carefully before actually eating them. image The only things they eat without hesitation are ones they found dead under a bush.  image

Dacha - I presume that was Thunderclap Newman? I didn't look at your link (image) but it's a fair guess I reckon...image

Been quite a good day here too Joyce. More slabs shifted and gravel organised so quite pleased.  The showers sent me in a couple of times, but they were normal showers, not the kind we usually get!  The forecast for the last few days suggested we'd have thunder and lightning this afternoon, but it changed this morning. The hills were getting a bashing though , and the west side isn't looking too clever tomorrow with hail, heavy rain, thunder and all the trimmings, so I think I may be heading east.....image

It's looking a bit iffy Joyce, apart from the morning,  so I might head to the most easterly Corbett as I've been meaning to do it for ages if it's poor everywhere else!

Have you had a good day yourself? The sun was quite pleasant - I even had my lunch outside  image

We're looking dodgy on Wednesday.   I hope so.

Enjoy your Corbett FG, in sunshine or at least not wet or gale forces.

RG - what is slippery elm and where do you find it?   Love the idea of suspicious salukis but I expect it can be a pain sometimes.

In what way are you looking dodgy on Wednesday, Obelixx?  image

Yes Fairy. Three days of gardening and slept for an hour after today's session.

If we could rely on the weather it would be so much easier to pace ourselves.

Hope you get good weather up north when you go on holiday.

Wet, windy and stormy.  I'll believe it when I see it but hope it comes.

Yes Fairy.....spot on .......I'm a bit of 50s 60s music lover but my dear old mum gave me the love of the best voice ever Nat King Cole.........I can't imaging a Christmas without his voice cascading around me image
