Joyce, I can't think of words to express how sorry I feel for you both. I know that you're a strong person, but I also know how hard it is. My thoughts are going to you. (hugs)

Joyce, I'm thinking of you and your OH. I hope you manage to get some sleep. Such a worrying time for you. But, from what you say, it sounds as though OH isn't suffering. Hugs.

I saw a squirrel sitting on the top of the fence tucking into one of mine image

I didn't get to eat one this year. I think I'll pull them all out. They're a waste of space now.

Ive been AWOL most of today sewing up some knitting projects while watching the athletics. All done now and new project started.

Spoke to Wonky ... New washing machine has arrived and is busy - it has been named Nigella as she is expected to be a domestic goddess  Plumber has been and fitted new stopcock  so floods are hopefully things of the past even if things do go wrong. She is still very happy in her new job image

Evening everyone, busy few days for me.  Had the family round today for a Turkish themed BBQ, went down well.  Took a while to clean up but everything shipshape now.   Nothing on the agenda for tomorrow so a day pottering is on the cards.

Glad to hear the renovations are moving on a pace Clari.  New sofas are definitely a step in the right direction.

Sorry to hear about OH Dove hope he feels better soon.

Joyce, hugs from me at what must be a really difficult time for you and the family.

    Glad to 'see' you Fairy.

    Sorry if I've missed anyone.

I asked Hubby if he could make a graph of our temps from his little weather station. Here it is.

Looking cold Pat ....but preferable to the baking heat you get in summer.

Work this morning, but day off tomorrow for Hampton Court.....forecast still looking dry.

Just been and picked myself a bowl of blueberries to go with my breakfastimage Yumimage

Joyce - hope your daughter arrives back soon - you'll find strength in each other.

Hi Chicky yes we're cold and one of our outside pipes burst this morning.  it's only bore water for the fruit trees, but it's a nuisance. Hubby has been out replacing bits.
