"Dioxygen difluoride reacts vigorously with nearly every chemical it encounters – even ordinary ice – leading to its onomatopoeic nickname "FOOF" (a play on its chemical structure and its explosive tendencies)."
Glad I made you laugh that will teach me to check back before posting won't it?
I found it surprising how many stalls there were selling scarves, beauty products etc at a show for gardening and good FOOD I am sure there used to be plant stalls indoors at one time and the floral pavilion seemed a bit sparse maybe we missed a bit?
Really enjoyed Gardeners World last night....wish I had gone to the show nowEnjoyed seeing all the old presenters, and I thought that the talk with Monty and Alan was interesting. Show gave me some ideas for plants next year. Although I agree Debs....more plants....I've got enough scarves thank you!
We went. Bought two roses and a couple of hostas. Good show yielded some chorizo.
Garden show poor. Show gardens were nice enough but everything else just a bit more sparse. Too much non gardening stuff there and as for the food show, few tasters to get you interested and mostly gins!
We arrived at 10am, it was quite crowded but the issues were more with the lack of good stuff. Outside traders are just garden centres really. Left at 230pm.

Well there you are! I have learnt a new word today and it sure wasn't the name of a plant.

'You must have some bread with it me duck!'
I've just googled Foof, and wish I hadn't.
From what I saw of GW Live on tv last night. I'm glad I didn't plan the hike there. I gave up half way through when Monty Met Alan. Yawn yawn yawn.

Steve, what a shame as you were looking forward to it so much. Was it very crowded?
How long did you spend there? Still not sure whether to go or not !
