Have a look at the Buddleja 'Buzz' range. Eila, you might find one there that fits the bill.

Thanks had a look and they now have a 3 coloured  buzz plant, seems crazy, a bit expensive  at £15

will have to save my pennies.

Save your pennies on the three coloured one, there's no such thing! They stick one of each colour cuttings in a pot.!

Eila - I'm looking at a "Harlequin" which is a reddish-maroon colour and apparently only grows to 1.5m-2m (5-7ft). It's related to "Royal Red" was too big for my garden at c5m!

Hmm thought the 3 colours was too good to be true !

will check the Harlequin out thanks

Ella, I give mine the Chelsea chop which prevents them getting too tall.

Joyce - Mine are pruned back to the ground every spring, and grow up 6' tall by mid summer.  Doesn't a summer prune cut off all the flowers?

We have B. Miss Ruby ... compact and floriferous and a fabulous colour ... really recommend it

Blue onion....the Chelsea chop just delays flowering. You can take every second or third branch half way back to have a longer flowering time.
