Sadly, I think they are impossible to eradicate, they will probably be the last living plant on earth

What are sticky buds?

I only think of Horse Chestnut buds as sticky buds. Perhaps Melissa means Goose grass.

I grew up calling it sticky bud because the seeds stick to one's clothing - inspiration for Velcro don't you know! Most people on here seem to call it goose grass.
It's dreadful stuff because it just won't go away and, whenever I weed it, I get a nasty rash on any bare skin.

Perhaps it's a northern thing Pdoc. Yes Nut, takes ages to heal too.
