Hi Villaverde123. No, not Pittosporum. I can see why you'd suggest it but if you could feel the leaves they're very soft and feathery. It does look a bit like P. in the photo but doesn't have the stiff, glossy leaves of P. I agree with everyone that suggested Deutzia to be honest. The flowers are now emerging, still pale green buds but similar to Ribes and emerging from the branch tips. I think it's going to be Deutzia. But thanks for your suggestion.
Yes, I can see that now having found an image of Deutzia Magicien. The leaves in the 3rd picture appear so much more glossy and fleshy on my PC but I do agree its Deutzia.

I think it will be in that deutzia type group
Shouldn't Daiseys be Daisey's (in true GC speak)

Don't you dare nut
Nut is right about 2. Our Physocarpus Diablo has exactly the same leaf shape but no flower buds yet as I hard pruned it last year.
I've just got one called Diablo d'Or (or something like that) I shall be interested to see the colour through the season

Now suggesting Pittosporum for number 3 ?
