What are those little red/maroon/brown sprouting seedlings in your 2nd pic? I planted peony last year that didnt do well at all and and now I have those coming out in the same spot.. obviously difficult to tell if they're peony this year.. but would be good to know what yours are as the look the same...
I've got some echinacea and rudbeckia from Lidl that I potted up, look like the red sprouts in the second picture. not bad for two weeks from dry roots.

Don't know what hogweed's ones are, there are a few things that come up reddish like that. Peony is one of them. It takes a while to get established. I think mine was year 3 before it had any real presence.

Not sure those are peonies pokhim. Peony have quite distinctive bullet shaped 'nubs' that are a strong colour and shape, even when small. This is what to look for
That looks much more like a herbaceous perennial of the type fidget has mentioned. I'm sure hogweed will tell you though.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I had most of my Sarah Raven order delivered about 10 days ago - the penstemons are growing so fast. I've already taken some cuttings - think I'll take some more. So while a single 2L plant may cost a bit more - hopefully 'll get up to 10 more plants from each of them this year - so it's actually cheap

The plants in the first photo look very healthy so as Sarah Raven is well known most of us would expect they were her plants but maybe we are all wrong and it's the weedy looking ones .
I once bought a packet of her seeds and only 2 germinated so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the 2nd and 3rd pictures. I have also visited her garden.
You were all correct - the first photo are the plants from SR - big plants, now potted into 1 litre pots, clean, well cared for and perfectly packaged. The other plants were decidedly cheaper but arrived broken and spindly - in fact some as from the pictures are hardly breaking the soil and some are yellow and drawn and look as though they have spent a week in the dark box. I have them all in the greenhouse and am going to pot them into 1 litre pots using fresh compost in a bid to give them a bit of a boost. I do so hope they will make up from their rocky start.
The reddish ones in the second picture are all Echinacea - Rainbow Marcella and Rubinstern.

Well, going by the quality and condition of the plants that I've received from SR, I'd say the plants in the first pic are from her company.

First pic SR for me too. At my age, I'm now prepared to pay a bit more for good sized plants that will flower the year I buy them.

Do you feel like telling us who supplied the others?
