Maybe I've been lucky with mine. slugs definitely present - neighbouring plants attacked - maybe they were more tasty. Light dampish shade. Lush growth. Planted late summer last year so not seen flowers yet.
Perhaps I'll wait a bit and see what happens before I get some more
Would love some input here. In the past when I've grown penstemons they have gone leggy and died very fast. I have read that they need renewal on a regular basis from cuttings. What's the best time of year? I have Sour Grapes; I didn't expect it to overwinter.
I can add that they need sun to flower, at least for me.

When you have a sluggy garden even foliage is welcome... Mine has been avoided by all slugs.
