That'll be a Brimstone, they're always early. Seen my firsttoday and a Small Tortoiseshell.

Saw my first Brimstone too! & quite a few bees which is a promising start
Beeless so far here. I'm expecting them when the pulmonaria comes out properly

Update:
One bee one ladybird and the neighbours are out having the first chimps' tea party of the year.
I saw a red one from my car a couple of weeks ago, not for long enough to be able to see species tho!
(I didn't hit it, I was at traffic lights and it fluttered by)
