I can't understand where the addition postal/transport charges come from either Perki - and your corms are growing well - a few inches tall now. Someone is making a pocket full of money out of us Guerns, well all the Channel Islands come to that. I don't understand it, and the subjected has been debated many times.
However, thanks to all the generous seed swaps on here I now have plenty of new young plants to put into the garden once the weather calms down again.
Gah! I've now got two clematis from Morrisons that are meant to go up by a fence. Except that fence is due to be painted and hasn't yet - and I have no support up on it yet either.
Got some freesia bulbs from b&m bargains, think they were £1.99 for 10 bulbs(?) hoping i can get them to flower, was going to put about an inch apart in pot with mix of John Innes no2 mpc and hort sand, if anyone has any advice I'd be grateful thanks in advance
I don't think they're very hardy rosemummy, but I may be wrong about that. It'll depend where you are in the country too, as with many plants. Never grown them myself.
I'd think they would be fine an any MPC for the season, then it's a case of whether you can overwinter them. If they're hardy enough to stay in a pot and come back each year, I expect you'll have to address the type of medium you have them in long term.
Perhaps you'd be better starting a new thread, in case your query gets missed here too. There's bound to be someone who'll have much better knowledge than me about them
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
thanks fairy, if they survive they do , if they don't they don't! we're in yorkshire, I haven't anywhere to overwinter stuff, I'll just be happy to get flowers in summer and bin them after that!

They also have them in Homebase 11cm pots for £2

Now I'm all in a kerfuffle!
