Thanks for starting the thread, Verdun. I just bought some gaillardia and eryngium. Can I grow gaillardia in pots? Will they grow to full height and spread this year? Can they be planted straight outside or should I wait a month or so more?
Thank you, Verdun. Will keep them in till they get bigger, maybe they'll have a better chance against the slugs and snails. I think the spikiness of the eryngium will make a great contrast with other plants in the garden.

i was fancying a dicentra, got one last year but think I killed it moving it....is it just 1 bulb in a pack from wilko?
