Any ideas what this plant is?

Apologies - I don't seem to be able to turn the photo round the right way. Any ideas? It appeared out of nowhere last year. Those tall bits had seeds on the end in summer and the leaves at the bottom seem to be slightly serrated as I have cut myself on them.

Will it grow in the lawn? I have found a lot of ladies mantle growing in the lawn so I think I'm going to try getting rid of that too.
