The 3,000 mile garden series wasn't hosted by Monty Don. That was the one where two people from miles away from each corresponded about there gardens. One in London, one in America.

The series was called Lost gardens Lyn. It was made about 18 years ago. Really interesting program as it redeveloped gardens that had become totally overgrown from different eras. Unlike most makeover shows it wasn't looking at an instant fix. They took five days and revisited 3 months afterwards to see the results
