"My" hedgehogs have been visiting since early March, quite early this year.
@delski, what time of day was your hedgehog sighting ?
@paulacastlepersonal, you maybe interested in this site, lots of information for helping our spiky friends 🦔

It was about 3am? I looked out of the window because I thought someone might be trying to break in.

Just wondered @delski :) . Thought it might have been during the day, which generally speaking is not good 🦔

I had hedgehog wars last night!
    These three turned up together

    Sorry poor picture
Nearest new (male?), in the box half sized one and female ( resident in hog box I think)
Before the big one appeared the smallest was throwing a paddy at the female eating in the box pushing it around, and throwing the food dish about.
When the big one tried to enter the female tried to leave, but ended up a ball in the doorway. The small one had a fit , climbed over her and started on the big male, getting between her and him, trying to push him away. This caused the male to attack and the little (male I now think) one was pushed all over the patio, but wouldn't give up. It ended with the little one sat next to the still curled up female refusing to move.😮 The big one then left, but as soon as the female uncurled the little one snapped at her, before leaving. A few minutes later she uncurled and left.😯
This all happened at midnight, but all three still appeared on camera for the rest of the night till 5am, luckily just not together. Phew

Managed to get a (bad) photo of one of the smaller hogs tonight ( from ten foot away , through glass, with my phone) The shape of this one is more cavy than hog 😆 , I think it's the little female,  she did three laps of the garden in an hour. 😁

This is "Will" (could be Willemina) last night - look at those little legs.

Hi Wildlifer, I follow @hedgehogcabin on Twitter for all the advice I could ever need on hedgehog care. She also has a fab website that gives advice on all aspects of hedgehog care and wellbeing. I’ve got two of the houses she recommends and they’re really sturdy, roomy, well ventilated and comfortable. They will last years. Have a look and see what you think. I’ve bought cheaper ones in the past; they are a false economy.
