You are doing all that you can for them @Dovefromabove, their body clocks will tell them if the air is too cold, your feeding them will have helped the hogs to build up their reserves. I am sure they will come when they are ready - they know where the food is, keep looking out for them.
It's been frosty here for the last two nights , but even though they have slowed down the young ones are coming every night. The adults have rarely been for the last week, so yours are probably the adults getting settled down for the cold spell @Dovefromabove .😁
Last night was sat in the conservatory and hoggie turned up at 8.20pm. It shot across the patio and I wondered what's got into you as it ran into the feeding station, only for a heavy rain shower to start seconds later, sensible hog.🌧🦔🌧
Our local rescue has reported that all the hedgehogs are off their food and are showing signs of stress. The ones that they have weighed have all lost weight. This is due to the fireworks that have been going off in the area for nearly a week.
Mine were MIA yesterday for the first time so be interesting to see if they show up tonight. Certainly a quieter night on the firework front tonight of course. Our rescue dog Dudley is happier that’s for sure!
