I know what you mean @Guernsey Donkey2. So much time and love spent on them and it can be heartbreaking when they don't make it. Fingers crossed re the "hedgehog lady".

I am slowly melting over here!
    Adorable little things.
To answer your question @AnniD I moved into a Victorian cottage in February, but the garden was very neglected, so is 'new' in the sense that it had to be razed to the ground, rejuvenated soil and all and is, as such, a blank canvas.
Exciting but also a bit daunting, at times!
Thank you for the advice, I'll see what I can find in my area.
    Photos to follow!

I do love my hubby, he has bought me a trail camera for our Anniversary! I was waiting till Christmas.  Hope to get photos of my hog visitors soon.🦔🦔🦔

    Here is today's heartbreaker
Sadly one of the orphaned hoglets didn't survive, but the rest are doing okay at the moment.
@Guernsey Donkey2 How did your meeting with the "Hedgehog Lady" go ?
  • You must have been good purplerallim - I look forward to seeing your pictures on here, I have wanted a camera for some time, but wonder when I will have the time to watch the recordings.  I would love one (or more) in the bird boxes too.
Those pictures melt me AnniD, aren't they gorgeous.
Yes the Hedgehog lady meeting was interesting.  She has a few more venues to visit before deciding if we are going to be chosen for her research, so I won't say too much about it until I know the outcome.  The tunneling is a little shelter where the hogs can enter, their visits are recorded for future research.  I will add more as/if this develops.
