Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
No news as yet AnniD, although I hope to hear soon. Sadly a third hoglet was found dead nearby, the poor mum. I wonder if there were any more in the nest. Not wanting to be flippant, but on a more hopeful note, there were a couple of adult hogs doing their mating routine outside our window a couple of nights later. Life goes on....
Positive and hopeful news of the surviving (still) hoglet, let's hope for a full recovery and a release before the colder weather sets in. I will try to get regular updates and perhaps it will return to this garden in the future.
Have already seen a visitor, 10.15pm is early. Not sure it's my regular one. It looked smaller( but it's hard to tell) , but it did go around the garden differently and left by the other gate ( unseen before) They look so cute eating and drinking.
Yes, Hope certainly is cute @AnniD - held in the palm of the hand - there is every chance Hope will survive and make it back into the wild isn't there?
I must get an update on our little survivor tomorrow when my daughter and partner do their twice weekly wardening - I wonder what name they gave it.
